  1. Washington Redskins: Tre’Davious White, CB, LSU
    Washington’s defense has been so much better under Joe Barry, who has been an enormous upgrade over Jim Haslett thus far. However, the Redskins could still use an upgrade at cornerback, which Tre’Davious White could certainly provide. Washington has struggled at this position since losing DeAngelo Hall, which is a sign of things to come because Hall won’t be on the roster for much longer.

  2. San Diego Chargers: A’Shawn Robinson, DE/DT, Alabama
    The Chargers re-signed Corey Liuget to a $30 million contract this past offseason, so I don’t know how much money they want to invest in their defensive line. This is significant, as Kendall Reyes happens to be a free agent at the end of this year. San Diego may want to obtain someone more consistent up front anyway.

  3. Pittsburgh Steelers: Reggie Ragland, ILB, Alabama
    Lawrence Timmons has enjoyed a great career in Pittsburgh, but it appears as though it’s coming to an end. Timmons, 30 next spring, has regressed recently and has actually been awful this year. He has a $15 million cap hit next year, so there’s no way he’ll be back at that price. He may not be back at all.

  4. Minnesota Vikings: Michael Thomas, WR, Ohio State
    Despite trading for Mike Wallace, the Vikings considered DeVante Parker at No. 11 overall in the 2015 NFL Draft. They ultimately chose Trae Waynes, but if they thought about taking Parker, they could definitely grab a receiver in this spot, especially after a year of watching Mike Wallace screw up.

  5. Indianapolis Colts: Vadal Alexander, G, LSU
    The Colts need to stop screwing around and fix Andrew Luck’s offensive line, which has been an abomination for far too long. Its performance Monday night against the Jets was an embarrassment. The tackles are fine, but every position on the interior has to be upgraded.

  6. New York Jets: Myles Jack, LB/RB, UCLA
    The Jets’ defense has been performing better than expected, but that doesn’t mean that they couldn’t use some upgrades. The middle of their defense could use some help. David Harris will be 32 in January, while Demario Davis will be entering free agency in the spring.

    And yes, Myles Jack is still a first-rounder. In fact, he could go much higher than this. Jack tore his ACL, yet he’s still in play as a top-10 pick. Todd Gurley was chosen No. 10 overall despite his knee injury, and Jack got hurt so early that he’ll be ready for the 2016 NFL season opener.



  7. Carolina Panthers: Jack Conklin, OT, Michigan State
    Carolina’s offensive line has been better than expected this season, but the team still needs to obtain at least one upgrade up front. They can’t keep moving forward with Michael Oher manning the blind side.

  8. New York Giants: Kenny Clark, DT, UCLA
    Johnathan Hankins is a very talented defensive tackle, but that’s all the Giants have at the position. They need to fill the huge void they have next to Hankins, so I expect that to be a priority for them next offseason.

  9. Buffalo Bills: Emmanuel Ogbah, DE, Oklahoma State
    The Bills are stacked almost everywhere – I never thought I’d ever write that – but one area they can improve is depth at defensive end. There’s nothing beyond Mario Williams and Jerry Hughes, so if one of them goes down, the pass rush will suffer. It’s early for a depth pick, but Buffalo is taking the best talent available at this juncture, a player who could start once Williams moves on in the future. Besides, Williams hasn’t played very well overall thus far in 2015.



  10. Denver Broncos: DeForest Buckner, DE/DT, Oregon
    The Broncos have a nice pair of starting defensive ends in Derek Wolfe and Malik Jackson, but both will be free agents after the 2015 season. It’ll be difficult to retain both.

  11. Atlanta Falcons: Nate Andrews, S, Florida State
    Atlanta’s defense has been better this season, but one weak link is the safety position. Both William Moore and Ricardo Allen have struggled. Moore will probably be given another chance, but Allen, a 2014 fifth-rounder, will have to be demoted to backup duties.

  12. Seattle Seahawks: Shawn Oakman, DE/DT, Baylor
    No one should’ve been surprised that Shawn Oakman returned to school, given that he was widely viewed as a second-day project. In fact, one general manager has him as a fifth- to seventh-rounder. Oakman has loads of potential and athleticism, however, so if he can actually learn how to play football, he could sneak into the first round.



  13. Arizona Cardinals: Darron Lee, DE/OLB, Ohio State
    The Cardinals have lacked pass-rushing talent on the edge for quite some time now, so I have to imagine that they’ll have interest in a potent outside linebacker next spring.

  14. Cincinnati Bengals: Shilique Calhoun, DE/OLB, Michigan State
    The Bengals signed Michael Johnson after the Buccaneers released him this offseason. However, there’s no guarantee he’ll play well for Cincinnati, given that he stopped trying when he was in Tampa last year. If Johnson continues to take his career for granted – he’s been just average through five games – the Bengals will have to find another pass-rusher next spring.

  15. Green Bay Packers: Adolphus Washington, DE/DT, Ohio State
    The Jaguars gave up on Luke Joeckel after three years earlier in this mock. Let’s see if the Packers do the same with Datone Jones, who has gotten into trouble off the field. If Jones continues to struggle – to be fair, he has been slightly better than usual – Green Bay may want to bolster its defensive line.
