  1. Buffalo Bills: Justin Jones, DT, N.C. State
The Bills overpaid for Star Lotulelei this offseason, so that means they now have two run-stuffing defensive tackles. What they lack is someone who can create a pass rush in the interior.

Pick change; previously Terrell Edmunds, LB

  2. New York Giants: James Washington, WR, Oklahoma State
There’s talk that the Giants might trade Odell Beckham Jr., but even if they don’t, they need someone to replace Brandon Marshall.

  3. Indianapolis Colts: Equanimeous St. Brown, WR, Notre Dame
Here’s more help for Andrew Luck. Donte Moncrief is gone, so Indianapolis needs to find a new No. 2 receiver to start across from T.Y. Hilton.

  4. Houston Texans: Mike Gesicki, TE, Penn State
The Texans have been searching for a consistent threat at tight end since Owen Daniels departed. Perhaps this is the solution.

Pick change; previously Brandon Parker, OT

  5. New York Giants: Geron Christian, OT, Louisville
The Giants signed Nate Solder, but they could still be in the market for a tackle, as there is still a problem on the other side. Plus, Solder’s durability isn’t great.

Pick change; previously Martinas Rankin, OT

  6. San Francisco 49ers: Arden Key, DE/OLB, LSU
The 49ers took a chance on a troubled player in Reuben Foster last year. I wonder if their strategy will change at all, as Arden Key has issues of his own. However, using a third-round pick on Key is far less riskier than the first-rounder on Foster.

Pick change; previously Marcell Ateman, WR

  7. Denver Broncos: Ogbonnia Okoronkwo, DE/OLB, Oklahoma
The Broncos want to add another edge rusher in Rounds 2-4. Ogbo Okoronkwo would be in consideration at this spot.

Pick change; previously Carlton Davis, CB

  8. New York Jets: Wyatt Teller, G, Virginia Tech
The Jets used their initial pick on a quarterback, so their next selection will have to be spent on a supporting member, whether that’s a tight end, receiver or offensive lineman.

Pick change; previously Dallas Goedert, TE

  9. Miami Dolphins: Rashaad Penny, RB, San Diego State
The Dolphins are looking for a new running back to pair with Kenyan Drake, so a third-round pick could be used on one.

Pick change; previously Luke Falk, QB

  10. San Francisco 49ers: Josey Jewell, LB, Iowa
I mentioned Reuben Foster a few picks ago. It’s uncertain if he’ll ever play in the NFL again, so the 49ers need to find some help at linebacker.

Pick change; previously Rashaad Penny, RB

  11. Oakland Raiders: Marcell Ateman, WR, Oklahoma State
Jordy Nelson was signed this offseason, but he has just one or two more seasons remaining in the tank – if that. Oakland will have to obtain a rookie receiver to eventually replace Nelson.

Pick change; previously Geron Christian, OT

  12. Green Bay Packers: Dante Pettis, WR, Washington
Speaking of Jordy Nelson, the Packers will have to find a new receiver to replace Aaron Rodgers’ long-time weapon.

Pick change; previously Lorenzo Carter, DE/OLB

  13. Cincinnati Bengals: Martinas Rankin, OT, Mississippi State
No one should be surprised if the Bengals double up on offensive linemen in the first few rounds in the 2018 NFL Draft, based on how the blocking unit has performed. Despite the addition of Cordy Glenn, another tackle will be needed.

Pick change; previously Desmond Harrison, OT

  14. Kansas City Chiefs: R.J. McIntosh, DT, Miami
The Chiefs could stand to improve most areas of their defense. Here, they can continue to bolster the interior of their stop unit.

  15. Arizona Cardinals: Da’Shawn Hand, DE/DT, Alabama
Robert Nkemdiche has been a disappointment thus far, so the Cardinals should bring in someone to challenge him.

  16. Houston Texans: Desmond Harrison, OT, West Georgia
Houston has one of the weakest offensive lines in the NFL. Multiple picks have to be used to upgrade the putrid front in order to keep Deshaun Watson healthy.

Pick change; previously Kyzir White, S

  17. Dallas Cowboys: Tarvarius Moore, S, Southern Miss
The Cowboys have issues in the middle of their defense. They need to obtain better safety help, and they could do so with some strong options on Day 2.

  18. Detroit Lions: Breeland Speaks, DE/DT, Ole Miss
The Lions need as much defensive line help as possible, so here’s another player for their troubled front.

Pick change; previously Royce Freeman, RB

  19. Baltimore Ravens: Anthony Averett, CB, Alabama
Unless Brandon Carr takes a big pay cut, I can’t see him being back next year. The Ravens could pursue another cornerback early in the draft if Carr leaves.

  20. Los Angeles Chargers: Uchenna Nwosu, DE/OLB, USC
The Chargers have two excellent edge rushers in Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram, but they don’t have much depth behind them, especially with Jeremiah Attaochu gone.

  21. Carolina Panthers: Carlton Davis, CB, Auburn
Carolina’s secondary has struggled since losing Josh Norman. The team will have to use an early pick on a cornerback.

Pick change; previously B.J. Hill, DT

  22. Kansas City Chiefs: Deon Cain, WR, Clemson
The Chiefs didn’t have much at receiver outside of Tyreek Hill entering this offseason. They signed Sammy Watkins, but I could see them adding another wideout after losing Albert Wilson.

  23. Los Angeles Rams: Frank Ragnow, C/G, Arkansas
One of the main reasons the Rams improved so much last year was their offensive line was bolstered. Center John Sullivan helped. He was retained this offseason, but he won’t be around much longer because he turns 33 this summer. In the meantime, Frank Ragnow could start at right guard, which is the one problem area.

Pick change; previously Tyrell Crosby, OT

  24. Carolina Panthers: Duke Ejiofor, DE, Wake Forest
The Panthers have a great linebacking corps and defensive interior, but their edge rush beyond Julius Peppers and Mario Addison is lacking. Peppers obviously won’t be around for more than another year or two, so Carolina will have to obtain his successor.

  25. Tennessee Titans: Austin Corbett, C/G, Nevada
The Titans are going to have some free agents in the interior of their offensive line in the near future, and center Ben Jones can be upgraded.

  26. Atlanta Falcons: P.J. Hall, NT, Sam Houston State
The Falcons’ defense was incredibly soft against the Eagles in the divisional round of the playoffs. They have to strengthen the interior of their defensive line, and they can do that with this selection.

Pick change; previously Tim Settle, NT

  27. New Orleans Saints: Ian Thomas, TE, Indiana
The Saints wanted to sign Jimmy Graham this offseason, but failed to do so. Ben Watson was the consolation prize, but he’s obviously not any sort of long-term solution.

Pick change; previously Justin Jones, DT

  28. Pittsburgh Steelers: Duke Dawson, CB, Florida
The Steelers are looking for another cornerback, and Duke Dawson is someone who would fit nicely into their defense.

Pick change; previously Marcus Allen, S

  29. Jacksonville Jaguars: Malik Jefferson, LB, Texas
The Jaguars could be looking into adding a mid-round linebacker in the wake of Paul Posluszny’s retirement.

  30. Minnesota Vikings: Kylie Fitts, DE, Utah
It never hurts to have too many edge rushers, and Brian Robison mentioned that he wants to retire after this upcoming season.

  31. New England Patriots: Nick Nelson, CB, Wisconsin
Nick Nelson suffered a knee injury recently that could cause him to fall. However, we’re hearing it’s not that serious, so he could still be taken in the third round. New England could grab him as a replacement for Malcolm Butler.

Pick change; previously Kyle Lauletta, QB

  32. Buffalo Bills: Darius Leonard, LB, South Carolina State
The Bills have a weak linebacking corps, as Matt Milano is the only viable starter at the position. This obviously must change.

Pick change; previously Trey Quinn, WR

  33. Arizona Cardinals: DeShon Elliott, S, Texas
The Cardinals inexplicably cut Tyrann Mathieu, who signed with the Texans. They’ll have to find a replacement at safety early in the draft.

  34. Houston Texans: Tarvarus McFadden, CB, Florida State
The Texans added some nice pieces to their secondary this offseason, but they could still stand to obtain another cornerback.

  35. Denver Broncos: Isaac Yiadom, CB, Boston College
The Broncos are looking to spend an early-round selection on a cornerback to replace Aqib Talib.

Pick change; previously Rasheem Green, DE/DT

  36. Cincinnati Bengals: Jaylen Samuels, TE, N.C. State
The Bengals should give Andy Dalton more weapons, and they can’t count on Tyler Eifert ever playing extensive action again.
