  1. Pittsburgh Steelers: Terry Beckner, DE/DT, Missouri
The Steelers could use a third-day pick on defensive line depth.

Terry Beckner is good in both run support and the pass rush, but he has a history of knee injuries.

  2. Pittsburgh Steelers: Te’von Coney, LB, Notre Dame
The Steelers could add more help for their linebacking corps, which is a major area of weakness.

  3. San Francisco 49ers: Montre Hartage, CB, Northwestern
San Francisco has to obtain as many talented cornerbacks as possible, given the dire need at the position.

There are concerns about Montre Hartage’s speed and athleticism, so he may have to move to safety.

  4. New Orleans Saints: Brett Rypien, QB, Boise State
If the Saints don’t retain Teddy Bridgewater, they may pursue a rookie quarterback on Day 3.

  5. Jacksonville Jaguars: David Long, LB, West Virginia
The Jaguars missed Paul Posluszny last year. They could go after a new linebacker this offseason.

David Long is a tough player with a great motor. He may not be very athletic, but he’ll be a solid player on a team. At the very least, he’ll be a quality special-teamer.

  6. Arizona Cardinals: Zach Gentry, TE, Michigan
The Cardinals signed Charles Clay in an attempt to upgrade their dire tight end situation. Arizona should go after a younger tight end because Clay won’t pan out.

Zach Gentry has great size and could be a mismatch threat in the NFL. He needs to improve his blocking. He worked out poorly at the combine.

  7. New York Giants: Dexter Williams, RB, Notre Dame
The Giants may want to use a third-day pick on a running back to add better depth behind Saquon Barkley.

Dexter Williams had a nice performance at the combine, outside of the receiving drills.

  8. Buffalo Bills: Andre James, OT, UCLA
Here’s another offensive line upgrade for the Bills, who could use a new right tackle.

Pick change; previously James Williams, RB

  9. Denver Broncos: Keenen Brown, TE, Texas State
Jake Butt has potential, but has been hurt too often, so the Broncos will likely draft a tight end.

Keenen Brown has nice size for an end-zone target. He had a great workout at the combine.

  10. Dallas Cowboys: Dax Raymond, TE, Utah State
Jason Witten is coming back, but the Cowboys could still use a draft pick on a tight end for 2020 and beyond.

Dax Raymond isn’t very athletic, but he’s a reliable pass-catching tight end.

  11. Detroit Lions: Damon Arnette, CB, Ohio State
The Lions need as much help in the secondary as possible.

Damon Arnette struggled early in 2017, but improved as the season progressed. He has nice size (6-0) and speed, but once again struggled in 2018.

  12. Green Bay Packers: Ben Powers, G, Oklahoma
The Packers could spend multiple picks on interior lineman, as they’ll need to do everything in their power to protect Aaron Rodgers.

  13. Atlanta Falcons: Elijah Holyfield, RB, Georgia
Here’s some running back depth for the Falcons, who will lose Tevin Coleman this offseason.

  14. Carolina Panthers: Jesse Burkett, C, Stanford
The Panthers will have to replace the retired Ryan Kalil. They could select a center much earlier than this.

  15. Miami Dolphins: Greg Gaines, DT, Washington
The Dolphins could double up on defensive tackles, as it’ll take more than one player to replace Ndamukong Suh.

  16. Cleveland Browns: Otaro Alaka, LB, Texas A&M
The Browns will need multiple linebackers in the wake of Jamie Collins’ release.

  17. Minnesota Vikings: Chase Claypool, WR, Notre Dame
The Vikings will be looking for a third receiver to go along with Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen.

Chase Claypool appears to have tremendous potential, as he has a great mix of size (6-4, 228) and speed.

  18. Baltimore Ravens: Javon Patterson, G, Ole Miss
The Ravens have yet to address their offensive line, which is something they’ll likely do on Day 3.

Javon Patterson made a huge improvement from his junior to his senior year.

  19. Pittsburgh Steelers: Lil’Jordan Humphrey, WR, Texas
With Antonio Brown on his way out, the Steelers will be looking for another receiver. They could use a couple of third-day picks on wideouts.

Lil’Jordan Humphrey is a big receiver who would be slotted higher in this mock draft if he didn’t have multiple off-the-field issues. He also ran slowly at the combine.

  20. Baltimore Ravens: Jamal Custis, WR, Syracuse
The Ravens will need multiple new receivers, given their free agency situation.

Jamal Custis may struggle to separate, but he has upside with his terrific frame (6-5, 213).

  21. Green Bay Packers: Michael Jackson, CB, Miami
The Packers have yet to select a cornerback, which is something I’m sure they’ll do on Day 3.

  22. Houston Texans: Khari Willis, S, Michigan State
The Texans lost Tyrann Mathieu in free agency, so they may need to find a replacement.

  23. New York Jets: Jimmy Moreland, CB, James Madison
The Jets lost Buster Skrine, so they could use a replacement.

Jimmy Moreland is a gritty, instinctive slot cornerback.

  24. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Andy Isabella, WR, UMass
The Buccaneers lost Adam Humphries, so they’ll likely draft a replacement at some point.

  25. Dallas Cowboys: Renell Wren, DT, Arizona State
The Cowboys won’t have David Irving available next year, so they’ll need to find a new defensive tackle at some point.

  26. Indianapolis Colts: Logan Parker, TE, Southern Utah
Both Eric Ebron and Jack Doyle are impending free agents next offseason, so they may draft a tight end.

  27. Los Angeles Chargers: Sam Mustipher, C, Notre Dame
The Chargers need a viable successor for Mike Pouncey, who doesn’t have the best injury history.

  28. Kansas City Chiefs: Andrew Van Ginkel, DE/OLB, Wisconsin
The Chiefs need a new edge rusher with Justin Houston gone, so up to three picks could be used on edge rushers.

  29. New Orleans Saints: Jalin Moore, RB, Appalachian State
The Saints will need a new running back if Mark Ingram leaves via free agency.

  30. Los Angeles Rams: Jacob Dolegala, QB, Central Connecticut
The Rams have one of the worst No. 2 quarterbacks in the NFL, as Sean Mannion sucks. An upgrade is needed.

  31. Detroit Lions: Tyree Jackson, QB, Buffalo
The Lions should begin looking into grooming a potential successor for Matthew Stafford.

  32. New England Patriots: Tyrel Dodson, LB, Texas A&M
The Patriots have needed help at linebacker for a long time, and I could see them doubling up at the position.

  33. Washington Redskins: Jakobi Meyers, WR, N.C. State
The Redskins will have to obtain as many receivers as possible to help them fix their great need at the position.

  34. Philadelphia Eagles: Gardner Minshew, QB, Washington State
The Eagles may want to draft a quarterback on Day 3 to help replace Nick Foles.

  35. Minnesota Vikings: Jordan Scarlett, RB, Florida
Latavius Murray wants to start for a team – good luck with that – so if he leaves, a new backup running back will be needed.

  36. Cincinnati Bengals: Xavier Crawford, CB, Central Michigan
The Bengals could stand to use a third-day pick on a cornerback for depth purposes.

  37. Cincinnati Bengals: Anthony Ratliff-Williams, WR, North Carolina
The Bengals reportedly would like to trade John Ross, so here’s a potential replacement.

  38. San Francisco 49ers: Chuma Edoga, OT, USC
Joe Staley doesn’t have many more years of high play remaining, so San Francisco could use a late pick on a tackle.

  39. Cincinnati Bengals: Zedrick Woods, S, Ole Miss
Here’s some special teams help and defensive back depth.

  40. Kansas City Chiefs: Keaton Sutherland, G, Texas A&M
The Chiefs need to work on improving their offensive line after seeing Patrick Mahomes pressured heavily in the AFC Championship.
