  1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Ndamukong Suh, DT, Nebraska
Defensive coordinator Jim Bates wants defensive tackles who can play two gaps effectively and push the pocket on third down. In his career, Bates has had wet dreams about defensive linemen like Suh. It is painfully obvious that if Suh is on the board for the Buccaneers, he is a near lock to be their pick.

By the way, if you're a Bucs fan, make sure you check out Pewter Report.com. It's the ultimate source for inside news on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, including all of the draft prospects they're targeting.

  2. Cleveland Browns: Jimmy Clausen, QB, Notre Dame
The Browns are desperate for a franchise quarterback. Eric Mangini hates Brady Quinn more than Bill Belichick. Cleveland fans can't take another season of Derek Anderson. Although Jimmy Clausen plays at Notre Dame, he isn't nearly the same player as Brady Quinn. He is far more accurate and has more experience in Charlie Weis' West Coast offense.

Also, don't forget the Mangini-Weis connection. They were assistant coaches together with the Jets and Patriots from 1997-2004. They should definitely have a relationship and I think Weis will sell Mangini hard on Clausen - as he should. Clausen could get this offense clicking if he gets protection.

  3. Detroit Lions: Russell Okung, T, Oklahoma State
This pick is a pretty easy one. The Lions are desperate for help at left tackle and they need to protect their investment in Matt Stafford. Okung has excellent athleticism and textbook footwork. He showed an ability to readjust and react against Texas A&M's Von Miller, who is one of the best pass rushers in the nation. Okung has the agility to be one of the top left tackles at the next level. If Stafford gets protection, he and Calvin Johnson will dominate.

  4. Saint Louis Rams: Jake Locker, QB, Washington
The Rams can't come out of the top five picks without a quarterback. Even if it is Sam Bradford, I think they might take a chance. They have to. Marc Bulger's contract needs to be cut and this team needs a spark. Locker has terrible talent around him, but he definitely flashed earlier in the season. He has much better physical tools than Bradford as well as experience in the West Coast offense. The Rams desperately need a face for their franchise as this is a no-brainer.

  5. Kansas City Chiefs: Eric Berry, S, Tennessee
This is becoming a very cliche, yet highly logical picks in mock drafts. The Chiefs can't take a defensive lineman in the top five three years in a row. Passing up on Aaron Curry, we know they are unlikely to select Rolando McClain. With Russell Okung off the board, they could take Bruce Campbell here, but even he has some durabilty problems. Eric Berry is the best player in the draft and is simply a very safe investment.

  6. Oakland Raiders: Gerald McCoy, DT, Oklahoma
Al Davis is getting a rep for only drafting great 40 times at the "skill" positions. However, people forget he has invested first-round draft picks into Robert Gallery, Matt Stinchcomb, and Darrell Russell. McCoy, like Russell, is an athletic freak at a position of big need in Oakland. He has great triangle numbers too at 6-4, 298, and a 5.05 40, which could end up being a sub 5.0.

McCoy is very athletic and I think Oakland would be a good fit for him. The obvious pick here might be Taylor Mays, and I don't doubt at all that it could happen, but defensive tackle is a big need and McCoy's height, weight, speed, and athleticism might catch Al Davis' attention.

  7. Washington Redskins: Sam Bradford, QB, Oklahoma
Daniel Snyder is a different breed. He loves big names and big stars; much like Jerry Jones. Sam Bradford is a HUGE name because we all know Snyder runs the Redskins like a fan - and fans watch SportsCenter. Sam Bradford has probably been mentioned on ESPN every other day for the past four months and will continue to be.

The Redskins will feel like they must make a change at quarterback along with Jim Zorn who is as good as fired. Mike Shanahan and Mike Holmgren will likely be the top men in the running. If Snyder chooses Jon Gruden, that is incredibly stupid because his offense is just as conservative as Zorn's. He will hurt this franchise more than help it. Although Zorn learned from Mike Holmgren, Holmgren is more of an innovator, and has the talent/mental capacity to adapt and evolve his playbook and playcalling.

  8. Buffalo Bills: Bruce Campbell, T, Maryland
The Bills need a blindside protector. There is no quarterback worthy of this pick and they need to find a way to protect their quarterback. Dick Jauron is as good as fired, and I think the new head coach will want to invest in one of the most imporant positions in football. Campbell is an athletic freak and plays with great technique, so don't be shocked if he is ultimately a top-six pick.

  9. Jacksonville Jaguars: Damian Williams, WR, USC
The Jaguars can't keep ignoring the receiver position, but I think general manager Gene Smith would want to play it safe here. Williams is an elite route runner, with good athleticism and great hands. He is going to remind Jaguars coaches and maybe some fans of the great Jimmy Smith. Williams also has tremendous character and a great work ethic.

  10. Tennessee Titans: Joe Haden, CB, Florida
Again, another team that needs a quarterback, but unfortunately the top three are off the board, and I'm not sure if Jeff Fisher will want to draft Sam Bradford since he loves going against the grain in the draft (Michael Griffin, Chris Johnson, Kenny Britt). Haden is the consensus top corner in the nation right now, or he should be, and this is the Titans biggest need outside of quarterback.

  11. Seattle Seahawks: Bryan Bulaga, T, Iowa
The Hawks are desperate for offensive line help. Bulaga could be a great right tackle in the NFL, and Seattle is simply desperate to improve themselves up front. General manager Tim Ruskell has played it safely in the draft lately with Aaron Curry and Lawrence Jackson, investing in players he feels like have a low chance to bust. Bulaga falls in that same mold and fills a need.

  12. San Francisco 49ers: Rolando McClain, ILB, Alabama
The 49ers can't rely on Takeo Spikes forever. The offensive line prospects at this time aren't anything to rave about and Ryan Mallett is probably too raw to go this high in the draft - so I think the 49ers would go defense back to back at this time. McClain is one of the best players currently on the board and would be deadly when paired with Patrick Willis especially with Aubrayo Franklin having a career year.

  13. San Francisco 49ers: Greg Hardy, DE/OLB, Mississippi
Manny Lawson is a bust - let's call it what it is, 49ers fans. No more preseason, love affair hype. I don't care who his mentor is in the summer. He leads all San Fran outside linebackers with a whopping 1.5 sacks. He is third on the team in tackles with 36, which is a respectable number, but he isn't getting to the quarterback like an outside linebacker needs to. Hardy has durability concerns, but there is no doubt he might draw some interest from the 3-4 teams. McClain was a value pick and Hardy is a need pick because this team needs to start getting a pass rush.

  14. New York Jets: Donovan Warren, CB, Michigan
Darrelle Revis is an elite player in this league. However, the Jets have serious problems at the other corner position. Lito Sheppard can't stay healthy and Dwight Lowery is more of a nickel corner. Warren has shows he can play press coverage at the next level this season with his speed, size and athleticism.

  15. Miami Dolphins: Brandon LaFell, WR, Louisiana State
I think Parcells might pass up on Dez Bryant right here. The reason being he doesn't like diva receivers like Terrell Owens and Keyshawn Johnson. LaFell is more of a blue-collar player, but I could be wrong. Maybe the Dolphins would take Bryant. Either way, I think it is obvious the Dolphins need a consistent producer at receiver for Chad Henne.

  16. San Diego Chargers: Dez Bryant, WR, Oklahoma State
This is a great pick for the Chargers because it gives them two deadly weapons in Vincent Jackson and Dez Bryant. I think Chargers fans would forget all about the BUSTer Davis draft pick from 2007. Putting talented receivers around Philip Rivers is only a good thing. However, the criticism here is that maybe the Chargers aren't building on their offensive line like they should be to protect Rivers.
