I hate seeing offenses play so poorly but I do appreciate a defense that tackles well and that was the case with this game. It certainly displayed better football than Oklahoma -v- Texas Tech. That was more like flag football.
I agree. With that said, I haven't seen any analysis pointing out the obvious - Arizona ended up with twice the yardage, twice the 1st downs, twice the time of possession (that's including OT) and as well as David Johnson ran, they couldn't muster a TD. That should tell you something about Seattle Defense. As far as their offense, I believe play calling was the issue in this particular game. Darrell Bevell simply lacks creativity it needs against opponents like the Rams, Arizona and Carolina, teams know the Hawks well, and teams Hawks traditionally struggle against.
The Ravens send the Chargers their 1st and 3rd rd picks this yr and next for their 1st rd pick

By the way, the fourth-annual Walter/Joker Annual Challenge is on, as I'll be competing with the Joker's College Picks. We each pick five games and see who does the best each week.
Oregon at Arizona State Line: Oregon by 8. Thursday, 9:00 p.m.
As a disclaimer, don't go nuts with my college football picks. I'm much better at picking NFL games (at least I used to be); I'm just doing these upon request. Follow @walterfootball for updates.
I love this sort of situation. Oregon opened at -10.5 and the spread is now down to -8 even though everyone is betting on them. Arizona State is a good team that has a legitimate chance of winning. The crowd is going to be fired up.
College Football Pick: Arizona State +8 (2 Units) -- Incorrect; -$220
UNLV at Boise State Line: Boise State by 28. Saturday, 3:30 p.m.
This should be a blowout. I don't see UNLV being competitive with Boise State.
College Football Pick: Boise State -28 (1 Unit) -- Incorrect; -$110
Colorado at USC Line: USC by 40.5. Saturday, 6:30 p.m.
Yes, I'm laying the 40.5. Colorado is not a competitive football team. It nearly lost by 50 at Fresno State a few weeks ago. USC should win this easily.
College Football Pick: USC -40.5 (1 Unit) -- Correct; +$100
Kansas State at West Virginia Line: West Virginia by 3. Saturday, 7:00 p.m.
West Virginia lost and now no longer has a chance at the national title. They're going to be flat. Meanwhile, Kansas State has to feel disrespected as an underdog.
College Football Pick: Kansas State +3 (3 Units) -- Correct; +$300
San Diego State at Nevada Line: Nevada by 7. Saturday, 10:30 p.m.
San Diego State has been playing well, while Nevada has barely been scraping by against mediocre competition. The Aztecs could easily pull off a straight-up victory.
College Football Pick: San Diego State +7 (2 Units) -- Correct; +$200
