Connecticut at East Carolina. Line: East Carolina by 28. Thursday, 7:00 p.m.
As a disclaimer, don't go nuts with my college football picks. I'm much better at picking NFL games (at least I used to be). Follow @walterfootball for updates.
I love East Carolina in this spot. The team is coming off a bye, so it'll be well prepared for an incredibly inferior opponent. Connecticut won't be able to match up, as it hasn't been very competitive. The Huskies' sole victory was a 19-16 win over Stony Brook.
College Football Pick: East Carolina -28 (3 Units) -- Incorrect; -$330
Miami at Virginia Tech. Line: Miami by 3. Thursday, 8:00 p.m.
Virginia Tech has been one of the biggest disappointments this year. They've been great to bet against. However, the books have overly compensated for them, and now we're getting tremendous line value with them. They should not be field goal underdogs to Miami.

College Football Pick: Virginia Tech +3 (1 Unit) -- Incorrect; -$110
Ohio at Western Michigan. Line: Western Michigan by 11. Saturday, 2:00 p.m.
Western Michigan is in a weird spot; it's coming off two straight victories as underdogs and is now in a role reversal as a big favorite. That's usually a bad situation for teams. I like Ohio to cover.
College Football Pick: Ohio +11 (1 Unit) -- Incorrect; -$110
Florida Atlantic at Marshall. Line: Marshall by 28. Saturday, 3:30 p.m.
What I wrote last week when I took Marshall for three units applies: "This is just a play on Marshall because of the huge talent disparity. Marshall could go undefeated the rest of the way, and I don't see it having much of an issue against pedestrian Florida International." Just replace "International" with "Atlantic."
College Football Pick: Marshall -28 (3 Units) -- Incorrect; -$330
Arizona State at Washington. Line: Arizona State by 3.5. Saturday, 10:45 p.m.
What I wrote about in the Ohio-Western Michigan game applies here. Arizona State won two impressive games as underdogs versus USC and Stanford. Now, the Sun Devils are road favorites against a frisky Washington team, which just seems like a terrible spot for them.
